Gyan tries his level best to explain Pashupati, Cheddilal and all the members of Chaturvedi family that he is not aware of the alcohol bottle in his school bag but Cheddilal and Pashupati doesn’t believe him and gives a severe punishment to Gyan that until and Unless Gyan does not reveal the truth, no one will dare to give him food or water. Later, Toasty secretly brings food for Gyan and later, even Malti and Dadaji joins in. Kiah secretly puts the bottle in Toasty’s room and thus Toasty doubts on Kiah. Will Toasty and Chaturvedi family come to know that Kiah consumes Alcohol?
Taanya is a beautiful, intelligent and multi-faceted computer science student in Mumbai. As she is about to pass out of college, her parents begin to talk about her marriage. That’s when she tells them that she likes a boy called Tej and wants to marry him.

Tej also loves her but is reluctant to accept the proposal because of a problem in his family. While he does not want to cheat her by keeping the truth from her, he is scared of losing her if he tells her about his family’s problem. His friends try to convince him that every family has some problem so he need not even mention it to Taanya.

Finally, when Tej and Taanya’s families meet, there seems to be no problem and the proposal is mutually agreed upon. A grand wedding takes place and Taanya arrives in her sasuraal. The moment of shock come when all the rituals and ceremonies are over and the guests are all gone. Taanya realizes that Tej’s household is full of men, just men. All the chachis, mamis, buas etc who attended the wedding had all gone and she was the only woman in the house.

Taanya does not know how to handle this. Though in college days she was never uncomfortable among boys and she grew up with a brother, this was another feeling altogether. A life always surrounded by only men — all strangers to begin with — looks unimaginable. She stays put anyways but within twenty four hours she realizes that these men are like pebbles on a beach — all different from each other and rubbing each other sour. She realizes that each one is difficult to deal with. If one wants omlette for breakfast, the other wants halwa. And as if this was not enough there is a sasurji who is kind of a hitler and a chacha sasur who is a hitler-hater. An old dada sasur is also there to make matters worse.

Taanya’s despairs as she realizes that she needs to play the warden of a boy’s hostel where the boys ranged 60 to 12 in age groups. Taanya gives up, accuses Tej of cheating her by not telling the truth and leaves the house.

She returns to her maternal home, only to find that her brother and bhabhi all packed and ready to leave the house and her mother crying. Taanya’s bhabhi does not want to take the responsibility of her in-laws and hence she moves out of the house with Taanya’s brother. And before a shocked Taanya can utter a word about her own problem, her mother tells her that a woman, like a needle is supposed to stitch a family together and not break it. She asks Taanya to always keep her family together and never do anything to break it. Taanya has no alternative and she returns — determined to face the challenge.

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, nearly 30 people die each day in motor vehicle crashes that involves an alcohol-impaired driver. This amounts to one death every 48 minutes.

In turn, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) serve one victim or survivor of drunk driving every nine minutes.

“Drunk driving is a big problem in our society,” says Jay Dee Walters, the film’s co-star and executive producer. “We hope that this movie will not only entertain viewers, but also drive home a very important, take-away message.”

“Blind Turn” stars Rachel Boston as Samantha Holt (In Plain Sight, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, 500 Days of Summer) and Walters as Bruce Miller. Samantha has experienced a tragic event resulting from one too many cocktails at a Christmas party. Her seemingly perfect life has now taken a turn for the worse.

One year later, enter Bruce, Samantha’s nemesis. He was once a devoted family man, but has now turned demented teacher of a valuable life lesson. He kidnaps Samantha and takes her hostage while administering a series of escalating sobriety tests. He wants to demonstrate the consequences of DUI and DWI. Powerful imagery accompanies many of the disturbing and chaotic scenes.

“The movie was originally named, ‘Point Zero Seven’ because Samantha blows this during her blood alcohol content (BAC) test, but as the film evolved so did the name.

For instance, on average, a BAC of 0.06-0.09 may alter a person’s behavior to include blunted feelings, less social restraint and extraversion. And, it may affect reasoning, depth perception, peripheral vision and glare recovery.

In a nutshell, “Blind Turn” (Directed by Robert Orr) is about personal devastation, life and death decisions, guilt, regret and forgiveness. It is also about the inter-connectivity of the world and how personal decisions can affect innocent people.

“It’s kind of like ‘Hard Candy’ meets ‘A Christmas Carol,’” says Walters.

And while accidents may happen, so does revenge.

“Blind Turn” was shot in Shreveport, LA and is 86 minutes in length; the trailer simply teases and leaves viewers aching for more.

As many of you know, our political parody, Should Be Legalized, has been censored by YouTube and our virality, as a result, has been killed.

We were on pace to reach over a million views in a week after being featured on NORML’s website, pro-marijuana blogs and boingboing.net. But we were haulted to a crawl when YouTube deemed our video as offensive and sided with the handful of anti-Prop 19 dissenters that flagged us. YouTube’s policy is a travesty to free speech, especially during the final build up to such a historic election.

Compare our video to Eminem’s and tell me which one is more offensive. One that depicts marijuana use. Or one that depicts alcohol abuse, spousal abuse, sexual assault, arson, and murder. Youtube allows Eminem’s to be seen by all ages at all times, and even sells advertising on it. Yet our fun loving political message is deemed and flagged as offensive for the mere FICTIONALIZED depiction of marijuana use. Help us fight this.

Call the TMZ tip line (866 847 9869) and say “Steve Berke Prop 19″ as many times as you can until they hang up. They have our video and and have watched it, and are deciding whether or not to run this story. If they run it, it will get picked up by the national media, and we can shame YouTube about the problems with their flagging/censoring system.

YouTube Censors Pro Prop 19 Political Campaign

Comedian’s Video Supports Pro Pot Legalization Drive

Miami Beach, FL (Oct 26th, 2010) Last week, comedian Steve Berke launched an online political campaign in support of Proposition 19 in California with the recent release of his latest music video, “Should Be Legalized”, a political commentary on Eminem’s music video “Love The Way You Lie.”

The campaign, supported by NORML (National Organization for Reform of Marijuana Laws) was generating huge internet buzz, and had amassed 108,000 views within 2 days, when YouTube flagged it for being offensive, thus requiring users to login to view the video, killing the video’s chance at becoming viral.

“We were on pace to reach 1 million views within a week, and our video was rallying supporters of Prop 19 and decriminalization in every state that had it on the ballot. Then YouTube flagged us for being offensive and killed any chance we had at reaching our potential audience. Their censorship of this video is similar to the Internet censorship that takes place in repressive countries like North Korea and China.”

YouTube failed to give any reason to Berke for flagging the video and it is presently inaccessible to the vast majority of worldwide. “The flagging system does not have a system of recourse and re-review,” stated Berke.

Fort Lauderdale attorney Norm Kent, on the Board of Directors at NORML, is among those who are outraged. “We will not let YouTube squash a vibrant political campaign the week before the historic November 2nd elections. Videos of rapper Snoop Dogg smoking marijuana are not flagged as offensive, but a song that merely names him as a marijuana user is? YouTube is effectively freezing a viral political movement as it gains momentum in time for a critical vote. They must remove the flag. If they do not, we will pursue the matter further until they do.”

NORML Executive Director Allen St. Pierre adds, “YouTube’s building a wall around Steve Berke’s video makes no sense in light of dozens of other videos that depict normal cannabis use. YouTube, whether it means to or not, is stifling legitimate political discourse regarding an important initiative vote in California next week that seeks to legalize and tax cannabis.”

“I just don’t understand it,” said Berke. “People smoking marijuana in videos on YouTube go unflagged, but our video, that involves actors merely pretending to smoke marijuana as political satire, is flagged immediately.”

“In Eminem’s video, alcohol abuse, spousal abuse, sexual assault, arson and murder are all prevalent and the video is not censored in any way. In fact, YouTube runs ads against it, not only profiting off the video, but also making it viewable to all ages at all times,” Berke added.

Counseling Interventions are you can’t help people unless they want help, talking about getting help or therapy is not the same as going and getting it.

If you give a pill taker addict a pill every now and then you are helping to support the problem they have as much as giving a Alcoholic a drink every now and then to stop the shakes you are feeding the addiction, let the hospital deal with the issue or the treating doctor do their job.
You can sweep it under the rug or you can do some intervention services for your loved one, to get help and seek help, if they don’t want help then you can’t help them through the most painful experience they have dependency.

Most problems is a fear of loss, or rejection as I said a person can only get help if they want help and not just saying this.

Tommorrow the problem will still be their for them, but for family and friends it can be a life time seeing what is happening daily and hourly.
