A large percentage of people with Lyme disease never noticed a tick bite or rash. Ticks are extremely small. Ticks carrying Lyme disease have been found in every state of the United States, and in many other parts of the world. Lyme disease is also passed from mother to child in the womb.

It sounds like those in your family may be genetically more susceptible to the Lyme bacteria, if that is, in fact the underlying problem. I’m not saying it definitely is, but you need to see an ILADS Lyme doctor to find out for sure.

many docs label any pain as fibro–even normal pain form lifestyle or pain from other conditions such as arthritis or depression—-you need to research and confirm the fibor diagnosis is right–look for mistakes teh doc makes–that show he may not be accurate…..

fibro is not specifically a sleep disorder–but that is one of the effects of it–it is a disorder of the neuro system=-including disordered (non restorative) sleep

there are actually THREE meds for fibro–plus off label uses of others–but all have limited success–they are Savella and Cymbalta which are SNRis and Lyrica which is antiseizure

Do you really want a CHEAP doctor? All doctors basically charge the same amount for an office call and a physical anyway.

The diagnosis of fibro dosnt help much. There is really nothing they can do for it. I was told to get plenty of cardio exercise. It is actually a sleep disorder, that you do not repair muscles while you sleep because you do not enter the deepest stage of sleep.
