This is a book that will help all of you who read it. It is a life gripping experience transferred to print. It is a true story – it is not fiction. The book deals with many issues, the author’s experiences in Vietnam, the author’s healing from sexual abuse, the author’s healing from drug and alcohol abuse with down-to-earth instructions for anyone facing these issues. The book write about Mental Disorders, and proper use of medication to stay functional and stable. The book talks about issues of integrity that each person must face. The author shares a positive approach to leading family meetings which he practiced with his family that do not sound like quot;preachingquot; but allow others and the leader to express how they feel from their hearts, not saying quot;you did this to mequot;, and so on – giving each one the freedom to say how they feel. A leader is mainly a facilitator, allowing each one to get hisher feelings out. The book talks about how the author was originally mis-diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease, but afterwards, correctly diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease by two Neurologists. The author discusses how he believes he is healed, even though symptoms still exist. Although not stated in the book the author believes either medically or miraculously the he is healed and that it is merely waiting for the time that God will do this. The author talks about his healing from colon cancer. The author talks about Dr. Wilks, and Vine-Life Christian Fellowship, Riverside, CA and the vision all the body of the church, including the author’s family are committed to, and submit to. The author talks about the rapidly expanding church. The author talks about sowing and reaping, and what it has really meant in the lives of his wife and himself. The author also discusses the issues of talking and listening to God.
